Yogurt cream with mango and lime puree, recipe (without oven) easy and refreshing

There are desserts that cost little effort, to say nothing, but are very lucid and tasty. Such is the case of the yogurt cream with mango and lime puree. Light, refreshing, quick to prepare, without oven, versatile, made with easy-to-find and inexpensive ingredients ... these are all advantages!

With the amounts indicated, I have prepared four cups of yogurt cream with mango and lime puree, but in generous portions. If you like to finish off your meals with a small amount of candy, you can distribute the mixture between 6 or 8 people. Although, honestly, it is so delicious and fresh that some people feel like repeating it.

  • 30 ml milk

How to make yogurt cream with mango and lime puree

Peel the mango and remove all the meat we can, trying to avoid the fibrous part near the bone. Crush the mango pieces with a hand mixer, along with the lime juice and honey. We try and add more honey if we consider it necessary. We pass the puree through a sieve, or strainer, and reserve it.

We dissolve the gelatin in milk, slightly warm. If we have any clumps, always we can pass the mixture through a strainer. We can also use a jelly sheet and moisturize it in cold water, drain and dissolve in warm milk. We beat the yogurt in a deep bowl and add the milk with the diluted gelatin. Stir until well mixed.

With the help of some electric rods, we mount the cream (which should be very cold) in a clean container. If the container is cold, the cream will ride better. To do this, we can put it in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes. Before the cream mounts completely, we add the icing sugar.

We pour the yogurt mixture in the container in which we have mounted the cream and remove with metal rods, manually, very gently and carefully. We do not want to continue beating, just mix until we get a homogeneous cream that we distribute in four cups and cover with mango puree. Let stand cold for a couple of hours before serving.

If you like soft, creamy and refreshing desserts, then you can't stop trying the yogurt cream with mango and lime puree. It is the perfect climax to a summer meal. You can adapt the recipe and use any fruit you have on hand to make the puree, although the mango and lime work very well.
