What would be great that after going to donate blood, instead of the classic skewer and bottle of water, we were offered to taste some succulent dishes prepared by great Catalan chefs the size of Ferran Adrià? It seems incredible but it is true, because this is the initiative on which the campaign is based “I have sybarite blood”, Promoted by the Blood and Tissue Bank of Catalonia.
Thus, donors who come to the fixed donation centers of different hospitals in Barcelona adhered to this initiative, may try a tasting menu prepared by important chefs of our gastronomy, who will try to unite good eating habits with blood donation.
With this campaign that began on September 8 and is scheduled to end on October 5, it is intended to retain donors, attract new volunteers, as well as increase the reserves of Catalan blood banks that would have declined greatly in recent months.
